Apartments overlooking the panorama of the hills of Serralunga d’Alba, for a unique experience full of relaxation.
In 2004 we decided to renovate an old building we owned in order to accommodate those who want to get to know the Langhe area and our small rural reality up close.
We carefully researched how to enhance and recover the building’s original materials while adding a touch of creativity, allowing us to offer four accommodations, including rooms and independent apartments.
The farmhouse is located in the centre of the town Parafada, in the group of houses on the ridge of the hill facing south-east, just in front of Serralunga.
The name “I Grappoli”, like the logo that distinguishes it, comes from the idea of remembering the four original names of the historic vines of Serralunga. Each room or apartment is named after a single grape variety.
The accommodations are arranged over two floors: Dolcetto and Nebbiolo on the ground floor, Moscato and Barbera on the first floor. The latter are accessible from an external stone and brick staircase rebuilt with historic techniques and architecture.
The street side entrance provides access to the private internal courtyard with a swimming pool for the farmhouse guests’ exclusive use. The area is bordered by a small private garden and patio. The courtyard is enclosed and also includes some children’s games and toys.
To fully enjoy the peace and calm of the farmhouse, we suggest some relaxation under the pergola covered with vines, where you can relax while reading a book or sipping a good glass of wine while looking out over the valley, admiring the geometric landscape of the vineyards with the magnificent castle of Serralunga in the background.
The courtyard leads to the breakfast room where our guests are “pampered” every morning with a breakfast including typical, excellent products: from the best local cured meats and cheeses to jams and fresh sweets… Whether you prefer a savoury or sweet breakfast, it will give you the perfect amount of energy for setting off to enjoy the countless food & wine and nature trails.
We are available to suggest or organise tours among the Langhe villages with a visit to the prestigious castles or wineries in the area, as well as trekking or biking trails among the paths that connect the most beautiful villages.
In addition to tasting our wines with typical local products, all those visiting Serralunga and our farmhouse will remember the skilful and traditional cuisine of the numerous restaurants and taverns within walking distance.
Our commitment to anyone who stays in the “I Grappoli” Farmhouse is to help them regenerate by immersing themselves in nature and tradition. Anyone can touch and experience the values of the peasant traditions up close, returning home with a smile.
“DOLCETTO” TWO-ROOM APARTMENT
The “DOLCETTO” apartment is located on the ground floor and is the largest. It has a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with a shower. The front porch leads to the kitchen, fully equipped for an independent stay.
The large bedroom can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. The bedroom leads to the private bathroom and a small but cosy covered terrace offering views of the valley and Serralunga.
The “DOLCETTO” apartment is furnished in a classic style, with rustic furniture and wrought iron double and single beds.
The “MOSCATO” apartment is located on the first floor and has a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with a shower.
The entrance leads into the kitchen, fully equipped for an independent stay. The large bedroom can comfortably accommodate up to 3/4 people.
The apartment has a private bathroom with shower and a small balcony to admire the valley and Serralunga. It also includes a large private terrace where you can dine outdoors, enjoying the breeze of our summer evenings.
The “MOSCATO” apartment is furnished in a classic style, with rustic furniture and wrought iron double and single beds.
The “NEBBIOLO” studio apartment is located on the ground floor and has a bedroom with a kitchen and a private bathroom with a shower. 2 people can comfortably stay here in a double bed. An additional single bed can be provided on request.
The studio opens onto a small private terrace, where you can dine overlooking the swimming pool and the valley of Serralunga. The furniture is in a modern and sober style.
The “NEBBIOLO” apartment is accessible to the disabled and handicapped.
The “BARBERA” studio apartment is located on the first floor, with access from the staircase and balcony. It has a bedroom with kitchen and a private bathroom with a shower.
2 people can comfortably stay here in a double bed. An additional single bed can be provided on request.
The studio opens onto a small private balcony overlooking the vineyards and Serralunga. The furniture is in a modern and sober style.

The two-room apartments Dolcetto and Moscato cost 130 Euros per night with breakfast included*.
The price refers to a stay of 2 people for 2 or more nights.
Each additional person in each room or apartment: 20 Euros.

Any discounts and promotions for weekly stays can be applied.
