The farm worked with different types of crops, typical of the Piedmont of the past: vines, hazelnuts, fields, meadows and a small number of livestock: everything necessary to maintain and provide for family needs.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><\/div>

C<\/span><\/div>[vc_column_text]New land was purchased with his son Franco, and a focus was gradually placed on the most profitable crops. In the 70s and 80s the fields and meadows were gradually converted to poplar and hazelnut groves, while they completely abandoned rearing livestock.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column offset=”vc_col-md-4″][vc_column_text]In the mid-1980s they began making wine with part of the grapes, which until then had been sold to other winemakers. The country house, also located in Serralunga in the Gabutti area, in the centre of the homonymous geographical indication of Barolo, was gradually renovated, creating a cellar which has been expanded and adapted to current needs over the years.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column offset=”vc_col-md-4″][vc_column_text]The I Grappoli Farmhouse located near the cellar was opened in 2010, offering hospitality to our customers and the many tourists who choose the Langhe for a holiday full of nature.
\nToday the company has seven hectares of vineyards and as many of hazelnut trees managed by Franco and his sons Ezio and Claudio with their respective families.
\nThe typical wines of the Langhe are produced: Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo and Barolo.
